the lunar energy brings us the gift of pure awareness. allowing us to illuminate from the inside out. in indian mythology, deities would drink soma or moonlight. sweet like honey, soma is filled with pure delight. it pervades the world as water (element of the moon), taking form in the vital fluids of animals, the ocean and the rain, the sap on the trees and even the water in space. soma is pure peace, contentment and bliss with absolute consciousness.
in Ayurveda, soma is the electromagnetic vibration that keeps the body alive. in mythology, it produces immortality. when we drink in the soma from the moon, we are drinking all parts of ourselves. every feeling and emotion – love, sadness, anger, happiness, and fear! all of the inspiration and creativity inside of us, our deepest intuitions. gazing into the bright light that shines in the dark night, drench yourself in the universal life force that is continuously flowing and expanding in all beings.
